My oh my. We had fun at the pool today with mama's new underwater camera.

Governor's Cup

We joined 5,000 others today for the Governor's Cup in downtown Helena. We opted out of the 10k and 5k runs and enjoyed the leisurely 1-mile walk.

Adeline did great. She slept almost the entire walk.

The day was perfect. Cloudy with patches of sun.

And that was 20 minutes of our morning on Friday.

Addie and I were doing some training outside the pool today...besides that little bend in her left arm...this is great form for butterfly.

JD and I fed Addie a little bit of rice cereal for the first time tonight. Like in the photo...most of it dribbled out of her mouth.

Sunday afternoon visitors

Our good friend Paula stopped by for a visit with her kids Jessica and Daniel today. They were passing through town on their way home to Butte. We sat in our front yard and had a picnic (Paula always packs yummy picnics...there were mint Milanos) We are LOVING this warmer weather. JD mowed and trimmed the yard yesterday so it was quite lovely to lounge on.

Born weeks apart

This is an older photo ... taken back at the end of March but I still wanted to share. Here we are at Elliott's birthday party. From left, Sarah with son Caderyn, Adeline and I, Megan and her daughter Matilda and Emily with the birthday boy Elliott. The neat thing about this group of kids is their birth dates. Elliott and Caderyn were born two weeks apart in March...and...Adeline and Matilda were born two weeks apart in December. Neat neat neat.

Adeline helps her dad blow out the candles on his dirt cake. Last Saturday we had some friends over to celebrate JD's 29th birthday (which was actually on Sunday) Good food and good conversation made for a nice party.
