First solid food
JD and I fed Addie a little bit of rice cereal for the first time tonight. Like in the photo...most of it dribbled out of her mouth.

Sunday afternoon visitors
Our good friend Paula stopped by for a visit with her kids Jessica and Daniel today. They were passing through town on their way home to Butte. We sat in our front yard and had a picnic (Paula always packs yummy picnics...there were mint Milanos) We are LOVING this warmer weather. JD mowed and trimmed the yard yesterday so it was quite lovely to lounge on.

Born weeks apart
This is an older photo ... taken back at the end of March but I still wanted to share. Here we are at Elliott's birthday party. From left, Sarah with son Caderyn, Adeline and I, Megan and her daughter Matilda and Emily with the birthday boy Elliott. The neat thing about this group of kids is their birth dates. Elliott and Caderyn were born two weeks apart in March...and...Adeline and Matilda were born two weeks apart in December. Neat neat neat.

Happy Birthday JD
A new friend
This is Adeline with her new friend Tashi. He was born on Monday (the photos were taken Wednesday) His mother Melanie and I have been friends for almost 10 years. It's so neat that both Melanie and I have new babies! We've already talked about taking them to Yellowstone (where Mel and I met) we'll go on hikes and take them to hot springs. There are many adventures ahead for these two little ones! And I also want to add that Melanie gave birth at her home in the Mission Mountains...what a beautiful way to bring Tash into the world.

Waterlogged
Adeline and I had a swim play-date with my friend Erin and her 16-month-old son Everett earlier this week. We met at the Butte YMCA because Erin lives in Anaconda. And because Butte's pool is AWESOME. Not only was it just $6 for both Addie and I to swim but their pool is warm and they have zero depth entry, a frog slide, a big slide and spray features. Addie quite liked the pools inflatable toys too. She liked riding around in the yellow seat and Rett paddled and swam all on his own with his water wings. Fun fun fun.

Our little swimmer
Little Adeline sure loved the pool today! It was her first time swimming in more water than her little bath tub. We took her to Broadwater Hot Springs. She smiled, kicked and threw up a little from getting so excited. The only time she cried was when we took her out of the water. Addie is definitely going to follow in her parent's footsteps and be a swimmer.
