Fire season 2012

JD is working to fight fires this summer. Which means ... he's gone. BUT on Sunday Adeline and I hoped in the car and drove 350 to see him between his fire assignments. The above shot is her running out to great him at his water truck when he first pulled into town.

She loved sitting in dad's big truck.

His main duty last week on the Otter Creek fire near Ten Sleep, Wyoming was helicopter support in addition to dust abatement for the fire camp and the roads leading to the fire line. And now ... he's off fighting the Oil Creek fire near Newcastle, Wyoming. We miss you JD !!!!
